Eures Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro is looking for BI INFORMATIC DEVELOPER for a global leader company in shipping and logistics sector with more than 70.000 staff. The company prides itself on delivering global Service with local knowledge. Represented in 155 countries, this company ensures that shippers can talk directly to our representatives, as well as using a big variety of e-business solutions.
The Global Information Technology (IT) is actively working on rationalizing and streamlining the diverse technological landscape within the Group. This ongoing initiative bears many aspects and lead to many projects mobilizing the overall workforce of the company.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Within the Global BI organization and under its governance, the Informatica Developer mission is to provide analysis, design, deployment for BI solutions, implementing project good practices and quality processes. Key Responsibility :
Design, build and deploy BI ETL solutions (Informatica IDQ & PWC)
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
Develop and update technical documentation
Perform and document data analysis, data testing, ad-hoc reports and POC validation using SQL on MS SQL servers
Participate to the daily support
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide timely, complete, and accurate responses to the management and inquiries in a positive and constructive manner.
Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Company.
Proactively communicate relevant opportunities, risks, and issues to the management.
Participate in defining and implementing BI project good practices and quality processes.
SKILLS Required:
Minimun 8 years of experience in Business Intelligence
Strong Knowledge of the full BI stack
Minimum 5 years of experience with Informatica ETL (PWC or IDQ is a must)
In-depth Knowledge of SQL Server language
Fluency in English (oral and written)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a technical background.
Excellent leadership skills.
SKILLS Preferred:
BI Project Management
Experience in Agile methodology
Experience in the maritime shipping industry
Proven Experience in data quality or data management
Experience with OLAP (SSAS)
Knowledge of any other BI reporting tool appreciated
Knowledge of Azure cloud technologies appreciated
Other BI technical Skills (cube, ETL, ...) appreciated
PLACE OF WORK: Turin, Italy
WORK CONDITIONS:
Full-time contract, 40 hours per week.
