JOB DESCRIPTION:
The scope of this position is for a Confirmed Software Engineer with deep interest for the business and high attention to detail when designing or reengineering systems for performance, monitoring,scalability and maintainability. By applying agile values, he will have the possibility to constantly improve himself and continuously learn on technical or process topics. He/she will be supported by several communities of practice that will provide help when needed. He/She functionally report to the IT Director accountable for Logistics domain and Hierarchically reports to the Head of Development.
Key Responsibilities :
Design software solutions according to the business requirements and defined architecture
Guidelines
Propose improvements to the existing software solutions
Ensure quality of his code by writing unit testing
Contribute to the applications guidelines and technical documentation
Perform problem solving as support level 3 for Company’s custom developed products
And
Develop a mutually respectful working relationship with all staff in to ensure a strong Team
effort in all activities
Provide timely, complete and accurate responses to all Program Stakeholders’ questions and
inquiries in a positive and constructive manner
Complete tasks as required by the Company
Remain current on trends and innovation in IT, Software and Middleware industry
Anticipate and address potential issues leveraging previous experience and strong problemsolving
skills
Provide timely, complete and accurate responses to all Program Customers’ questions and
inquiries in a positive and constructive manner
SKILLS Required:
Experience developing and maintaining enterprise software
Experience designing and developing distributed and asynchronous processing systems
Experience designing and developing SSRS reports
Experience with overall software engineering best practices and products lifecycle including
Coding standards, code reviews, build processes and testing
Microsoft .NET 4.5 minimum (min 3 yrs)
Microsoft C# (min 2 yrs)
Microsoft Asp.NET Web API (min 1 yr)
Microsoft WPF, Entity Framework (is a plus)
SQL (min 2 yrs)
Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 & 2017
Microsoft VSTS or TFS (Build, Releases, Tests, Backlogs, GIT)
Design patterns
Object oriented programming
Open minded and curious to work with multiple technologies (mainly on Microsoft stack)
Fluency of English, written and spoken. An additional language is a plus.
Agile, fast learner, take initiatives, teamwork with remote teams, management of changing
priorities, focused.
PLACE OF WORK: Turin, Italy. Availability for travel as required (occasionally)
WORK CONDITIONS:
Full-time contract, 40 hours per week.
