SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep interest for business and high attention to detail when designing or reengineering systems for performance, monitoring, scalability and maintainability.Hierarchically reports to the OV Connect manager.

Key Responsibilities :

Design software solutions from scratch according to the business requirements and defined architecture guidelines

Propose improvements to the existing software solutions

Handover validated proof-of-concepts, with related documentation, to offshore teams for development and long-term support

Contribute to the platform guidelines documentation, diffusion and implementation

Support the development teams implementing and optimizing their deliverables

Perform PoCs to test software design alternatives and new technologies

Perform problem solving as support level 3 for Company’s custom developed products



SKILLS Required:

Experience developing, delivering and maintaining large enterprise software

Experience designing and developing distributed and asynchronous processing systems

Experience delivering reusable components

Experience with Service Oriented and Microservices Architectures

Experience with overall software engineering best practices and products lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, build processes and testing

Microsoft .Net Framework 4.x and Core: expert level

API Architecture, Design, Development, Security: expert level

Restful and SOAP APIs (.net WebAPI, WCF): expert level

Interact with Databases either through ORM and highly performant queries: advanced level

Cloud platforms experience (MS Azure preferably): advanced level

Interact and analyze logging platforms (AppInsights, Splunk, etc): advanced level

Open minded and curious to work with multiple technologies (mainly on Microsoft stack)

Perfect command of English, written and spoken. An additional language is a plus.

Agile, fast learner, take initiatives, teamwork with remote teams, management of changing priorities, focused, strive to automate and to handover

Fluency in English (oral and written)

The candidate should be a Team player, possess excellent communication skills, be motivated and demonstrate the following skills: critical thinking, problem solving, flexible and dependable, agile, fast learning, taking initiatives, seeking teamwork with remote teams, able to manage changing priorities, focused, striving to automate and to handover.



PLACE OF WORK: Turin, Italy.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Full-time contract, 40 hours per week.
