Represented in 155 countries, this company ensures that shippers can talk directly to our representatives, as well as using a big variety of e-business solutions.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Within the IT DEVELOPMENT Team and under its governance, the Developer mission is to work within Voyage Analysis Team to provide analysis, design, deployment and maintenance for financial solutions, implementing project good practices and quality processes. HR line-reporting to the Voyage Analysis Team leader.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide analysis, design and implementation for Voyage Analysis softwares and transversal custom needs;
Ensure the understanding of business needs and be able to translate business need into technical solutions;
Adapt to several functional domains in a quick time;
Provide the highest quality and adequate support to the team and the end-users;
Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with security and quality aspects described in related
Corporate Standard Operating Procedures;
Participate in defining and implementing project good practices and quality processes;
Pro-actively communicate relevant opportunities, risks, and issues to Voyage Analysis Team leader;
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide timely, complete and accurate responses to Voyage Analysis Team leader questions and
inquiries in a positive and constructive manner.
Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Company.
SKILLS Required:
MS Office Products
Fluency in French (oral and written)
Fluency in English (oral and written)
Good experience in Microsoft C#.NET
Good experience in Object Oriented Design
E.g. Domain Driven Design, SOLID, design patterns,
Unit testing
Good experience in MVC, JavaScript, Web User Experience
Intermediate experience in Transact SQL programming
Listening and understanding, Problem solving, Commitment to tasks, Analytical skills, Tolerance of ambiguity, Organization and planning, Curious and willing to learn
SKILLS Preferred:
Experience in Delphi language
Processes, Systems and Data minded
Experience in the maritime shipping industry
Experience in finance and accounting
PLACE OF WORK: Genova, Italy.
WORK CONDITIONS:
Full-time contract, 40 hours per week.
