As a Manager in Defence Products, you will be responsible for developing our Defence products and you will be situated in Aarhus and be working as a part of a distributed team.
The Defence Products Development is focused around two central product suites: IRIS and SitaWare. These products are organized in several projects and you will have a central management position as part of the Defence Products Development management team. All managers of our projects leads the product development with focus on high quality and easy-to-use products for our customers.
You will be working as a manager in and across our projects with responsibility for the continuous development and maintenance of the products, and you will cooperate closely with the projects to make the solution for our customers complete and perfect.
Your skills and personality
We expect that you have an IT-related master’s degree and skills that match PMI, Prince2, or IPMA level B/C. You have experience in managing software projects in a dynamic environment with fixed deadlines, and are able to keep calm during a busy workday. You possess strong leadership skills and have a proven record of coaching, developing and motivating others.
You should apply for this job if you:
•Have several years of experience as a Program Manager or experienced Senior Project Manager directing complex software projects
•Are good at combining your business understanding with your technical IT insights, and have proved to be successful in large IT deliveries
•Have strong qualifications in steering projects through KPI’s, management briefings, leading steering committee meetings, etc.
Military and product development knowledge and/or experiences are an advantage but not a requirement.
You are ambitious, and you set the bar high. You are willing to, and capable of, continuously improving and developing yourself, your team and your surroundings. You are an independent team player with the ability to cooperate and build relationships, and you thrive amongst other people. You are characterised by a high drive and a good mood, and you possess a large degree of flexibility.
